I got a few of my lagging FO’s finished here at the end of the year. A little monogamous knitting goes a long way.
The first thing I finished wasn’t really lagging. My daughter started knitting the State Street Cowl, but quickly got board with knitting, so she asked me to finish it for her. It was quick and easy.
The next item to finish was the Marina Vest in Noro. I have this one listed as being started about 18 months ago in Ravelry, but for some reason I feel like it was on the needles much longer than that.
Finally, I finished my Entralac Scarf that I probably started around 2008. It was one of my very early knitting projects. I remember the class that I took for it at Creative Fibers in Windsor, CT when I was still a rather new knitter. It was really hard and slow going for me, so I kept putting it down. I finally picked it back up about a month ago, and flew through the second half or so. My motivation was partially that I had it sitting on one of my 32″ interchangeable needles that I wanted to start a new sweater. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
So, now I’m happily knitting away on Hannah Fettig’s Rosemont cardigan. At this pace, I should have it done fairly soon, if all these other pretty items don’t keep distracting me….
Happy New Year!!
Congrats on finishing up some WIPs! That is one of my goals for this year. Learning how to do entrelac is on my list for this year as well. Nice job 🙂
