| To our wonderful customers – a special announcement from our owner Suzie vonReyn: “Almost 9 years ago, my husband Tim and I took over the helm here at KnitWit from the shops’ original owners Anna & Josh – hard to believe so much time has gone by! As they say, time flies when you’re having fun 🙂 However, after all of these years, I have decided it is now time to retire and move on to life’s next adventure. But do not fret – KnitWit is not going anywhere!! I am thrilled to announce that the shop will have new owners starting in March – Jennifer Fleck and her husband Chuck Fleck! Many of you already know Jennifer as she has been deeply invested in the knitting community here in southern Maine as one of the founders of the Lighthouse Knitting Guild and the co-host of the Maine Yarn Podcast. I am so happy that KnitWit will live on and be in such capable hands! KnitWit remains Quince & Co’s original flagship store and with Jennifer’s passion and energy, this change is sure to be a wonderful next chapter in KnitWit’s story. We’ll be sharing a few other updates about the transition during the next few weeks. For now, please know I am very grateful to all of you – for your support, kindness, creativity and inspiration – and that I am thrilled for KnitWit’s future as it continues to be the happy and creative place it has always been for all of us.” – Suzie |
That’s right, we’ll be owners of KnitWit starting this March! I’m so excited. As you’ve probably heard on my podcast over the last several years, KnitWit has always been my favorite yarn shop.
As we get closer, we’ll get you more details on our “opening” weekend. We hope you all come by and say “hi” and we begin this journey.
