They are fun to make, quick to finish and always needed — no wonder so many knitters love socks!
Capolette, by Elizabeth Smith, is the lighter-weight version of her original Capo layering top! Part capelet, part poncho, this little layering top is easy to make and fun to wear. It makes a great warm-weather-friendly layering piece.
Pom Pom Spring 2023 Issue 44 is now available. You never know what the day will bring with spring, so it’s the perfect season for layering!
I finished my CocoKnits Emma sweater (again). I added the neckband because I made the v-neck a little too big and floppy.
You are all familiar with the Rhinebeck Sweater, right? You create that special sweater to wear to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY each year. Well, one of our repeat attendees at KnitWit at the Shores has suggested we all create Searsport Shawls. I think this would be an amazing idea. June evenings are likely to still need shawls by the ocean here in Maine.
