Announcing the De-STITCH-Nation Tour! In 2021, Wonderland Yarns will journey to new and different exotic locales each month, with the yarn colorway inspired by vintage-esque travel posters. As we “visit” the destinations, we’ll explore everything from fiber traditions to mysterious occurrences to quirky and unique particulars of each place. The Tegan Hat by Julie Taylor is simple and cute. This baby hat is ideal for a beginner knitter. The pattern is clearly laid out and has instructions for both knitting in the round and knitting flat. Simply choose whichever method you are most comfortable with. We made our sample with Edition 3 yarn and used size US 2 & 4 needles. We love Dirty Water Dyeworks' Mini-Skeins here at the shop! One of our favorite ways to play with these amazing colors is to knit the Anguli Cowl from Hillary Smith Callis. Just choose your favorite 5 colors to make the pattern as written. Or if you can't pick just 5, enlarge the cowl to use 9 colors, by continuing to increase until you have 135 stitches , then decreasing down to 53 stitches before you bind off. Each year we collaborate with local artist, Scott Nash, to create a one-of-a-kind knitting bag for us. Collect them all!Beautiful! I love that we are now carrying this Maine-made yarn in our shop too. See the link in our bio and look for Jagger Spun yarns!Leila Raven's Burl Pullover features an allover, interrupted double seed stitch motif. Burl has a traditional, roomy fit in the sleeves and body.KnitWit Yarn Shop Facebook Page
