- See original post on @knitwityarnshop page To Our Wonderful Customers: Due to Portland's "Stay at Home Emergency Order" just issued this afternoon, our shop will be closed to the public until further notice. We will continue to fill phone and email orders as quickly as possible. And we are still offering free shipping on any order over $100. In addition, we are diligently working to upgrade our inventory and point of sale systems to allow us to offer online shopping and gift certificates! This will probably take a least a few weeks to implement, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, if you have the resources, we would love to ask for your help funding this upgrade. We had planned to get to this upgrade over time, as our income allowed, but the current situation is making this a priority. Please consider donating to our Go Fund Me campaign (link in profile) to help keep KnitWit alive. We are also moving forward with our Mira KAL as scheduled (link also in profile) so be sure to get your order in for your yarn soon. If you've already purchased yarn, watch your email inbox for a link to our private FaceBook page that will be the hub for our KAL. If you don't get a link in the next day or two, please send us an email (email@example.com) and we will look into it. Thank you, Jenn and Chuck Fleck . . . #portlandmaine #knitwityarnshop#Repost @elizabethsmithknits with @get_repost ・・・ Laguna, designed for @quinceandco Kestrel collection back in 2018, and one of my favorite samples to return home lately. Did you know that this 100% linen yarn is machine washable and dryable? You can even iron directly on it to get the edges nice and flat. I did a blog post a bunch of years ago that shows photos of Quince's linen yarn pre- and post- machine washing just so you can see the difference. I've put links in profile for that as well as the Ravelry page for Laguna 🌊 P.S. I named it Laguna after Laguna Beach, the city where my husband and I had our first date back in 2003, at a taco stand on Pacific Coast Highway ❤️ . . . #knitting #knittersofinstagram #quinceandco #quincekestrel #elizabethsmith #elizabethsmithknits #knittinginspiration
